During Easter of 1993, I found myself in Kampos of Chios,
surrounded by flowering citrus flowers
For the Resurrection service, my Chian friends
were keen to show me their favourite chapel.
I will not forget the painting that dominated the templon:
a divine eye with the most affectionate look.
