Workshop Operation Policies

During our 2-hour workshop we will help you make get to make a piece you like it, and then colour it paint it. You then need leave it with us to bake it, glaze it and bake it again. We shall contact you when ready so that you return to pick it up or we can ship it to you (shipping costs are not included in the 30 euros workshop price).

For those living abroad, we do offer the alternative of a high quality air-dry clay, in which case you can take your creation with you on the spot, though with some limitations: you will need to colour it yourself with acrylic colours and not during the workshop and, also, it will only be for decorative purposes (not for everyday use).

Important things to note:

  • For a ceramic piece to be ready, it takes time. It first needs to dry, then we bake it once, then glaze it and bake it again. So, expect to hear from us that your piece is ready, at least one month after the workshop took place.
  • From the moment we contact you, we allow two months for you to pick your piece up, before we put it up to our “give away” section. We have a limited space and cannot keep pieces for longer.
  • Although we try hard to limit the risks of something not going well with your piece till the end of the process, pottery making has an inherit risk of something not going well (a breakage, something wrong with the glazing, etc.). Although experience in pottery making helps to avoid that, it is not rare that even a whole production may not go well!
  • In case something happens, and you cannot attend your workshop, we could transfer it to a future date, prior to communication with us and upon availability. To do that, we need to be informed at least 24 hours in advance of the workshop you have originally booked.

Get ready for a beautiful experience!
